CHAMBER News:

The Chamber of Commerce celebrates the new Dance Arts Los Alamos dance studio called DALA Downtown. There will be a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 22.

After seeking a more central location for their classes in Los Alamos, Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) rented their new dance studio space at 1650 Trinity Ave, Suite 115 in Los Alamos.

DALA director Jonathan Guise said earlier that he and the DALA board have been working on it for several years, as their dancers and families have long requested a space closer to downtown with convenient parking and better amenities.

The entrance to the new dance studio location will be at the rear of the building, adjacent to the large parking lot behind where CB Fox used to be, conveniently located near many other businesses, restaurants and other amenities.

“We are all very happy to be located right in the city center!” Guise said. “It will make dance lessons so convenient for so many people! Come see the new space on January 22, then register for the spring semester!

DALA began giving classes in the new space on January 3. They will also continue to hold classes in their space in White Rock at 111 Longview Dr.

For questions or to register for classes with DALA, visit www.danceartslosalamos.org or call 505.672.9462.

Please join the Chamber and DALA on January 22 to celebrate the new location!
