Mollywood actress and dancer Rima Kallingal has announced that she is closing her Mamangam dance studio in Kochi due to the COVID crisis. The ‘Virus’ actress took to her social media pages to announce the shutdown of Mamangam.
With this, there will be no more dance lessons under Mamangam. At the same time, Rima confirmed that she will continue performing on stage with the Mamangam dance company.
“I decided to close the Mamangam Studios and the Dance Class Wing after the corona fiasco that hit us. It was a labor of love and there are so many memories associated with this place. high energy dancing, dance rehearsals, film screenings, workshops, flood relief fundraising camps, debates and discussions, filming, everything will always resonate in all of our hearts, ”Rima wrote in her article .
In her moving message, she also expressed her gratitude to all those associated with Mamangam.
“I want to thank just one person who supported me in creating this place. Thanks to the mamangam team. Thanks to all the students. Thanks to all the sponsors. Thank you to all the supporters, ”noted Rima.
“The Mamangam Dance Company will continue this journey on stage and on screens,” she added.
Rima, wife of director Aashiq Abu, started her dance school “Mamangam” in 2014. The dance school became famous by offering dance classes in different genres.
On the work side, Rima Kallingal was last seen in ‘Virus’ directed by Aashiq Abu.
